C. J. Ford Jr. is the Owner and Qualified Manager of C. J. Ford Private Investigations. Mr. Ford has been licensed since April 15, 1988, in the State of California. Ford has provided complete investigative services now for 27 years.
Ford has a particular passion for an individual’s constitutional and civil rights. Ford has provided services for the wrongfully accused and convicted of criminal crimes. Ford has fought and exposed some of the hypocritical people in the legal system. Ford has stood up against prosecution corruption and prosecutors and agents that intentionally withhold, conceal, and deny turning over discovery to the defense.
Prosecution misconduct was evident, in Ford's investigation of the case of Death Row Inmate Kenneth Clair. Ford's investigation was commended by the U. S. Supreme Court because of
Ford's persistence of getting to the truth despite the prosecution efforts to block his investigation, and the defense's intimidation to fight the prosecution on behalf of their own client.
Ford came forward despite the tradition of business as usual by the court, to fight for Pro Per rights. Ford stood up for the 14th amendment constitutional rights of individuals that had the right to act in their own defense. The courts insisted of acting in the pro per defense decisions, instead of being neutral trier of facts, Ford fault vigorously for Pro Per's rights.
Ford has greatly impacted the Pro Per system in Orange County, that the criminal court decided to ban Ford from participation in the Alternate Defense Services. Ford was banned for exposing the improper practice of the Alternate Defense Services which appointed defense experts that served the interest of the prosecution, instead of the defendant.
Ford has had a record exceeding 60 motions filed by Per Per Defendants, requesting Ford to investigate their cases. These motions by the Pro Per defendants were all denied by the court. The root of the ban on Ford and the denials were because of an article that came out in the newspaper exposing the injustice of the system. Ford wrote a book about his experience called “Whistle Blowing, Orange County Style” as a help book for others who dare to expose injustice.
